Age spots are flat brown, gray, or black spots on your skin. Age Spots are also called liver spots, solar lentigines or sun spots. They vary in size and usually appear on sun-exposed areas like face, hands, shoulders and arms.

Our doctor will usually diagnose age spots by looking at your skin. There are several medical procedures that can remove or reduce age spots. Talk to our doctor to find out which treatment is the most appropriate for your skin. If you are worried that the dark area isn't an age spot, our doctor may also perform a biopsy  to check for abnormalities.
